Stained glass art is 'practical' art that can be used and enjoyed everyday in your home. It can add a statement of individuality to a front door, block a view of the neighbor's side yard and keep bathrooms private while being beautiful at the same time.

Although I had dabbled in stained glass since high school, my real exposure to glass came from my experience with homebuilding and remodeling, and that is still my personal interest. Legacy Glass Art is my opportunity to be surrounded by art and color and other people who are as excited about the possibilities of glass as I am.

Boise has quite a community of glass artists. I'm hoping the store will be a central place for both established artists and people just drawn to glass for the first time to share ideas.

It's exciting to see students' eyes light up when they figure out that they can build an impressive project that they love and their friends are amazed by. Stained glass pieces are truly a "Legacy" to be passed on from generation to generation.
